Your 64th
birthday
While this isn’t the “big” Medicare birthday, your 64th birthday is when you’ll start getting a lot of Medicare information sent your way.
Your Initial Enrollment Period
is coming soon
This is a great time to learn about Medicare and start exploring your options before enrollment begins.
Check out these articles and videos to begin:
Your Initial Enrollment Period begins
When your IEP begins, you’ll want to get answers to the following three questions:
- If plan on working past 65, what do I need to know?
- When should I enroll in a Medicare Part D plan?
- Do I need additional Medicare coverage like a Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare Supplement plan?
Happy 65th birthday!
This exciting milestone is right in the middle of your Initial Enrollment Period.
You’ll also want to make sure you’ve enrolled in Medicare Part A at this time.
Last month of your Initial Enrollment Period
This is your last chance to enroll in a Medicare plan and avoid any potential penalties.
If you do not have drug coverage at this point in time, you’ll want to enroll in a Medicare Part D plan to avoid penalties.
